For the elections for the Dutch lower house are January 22nd, there on the Internet is an voting advice site, which my sis and I both went to to get an advice. Not that we’re allowed to vote (argh, you have to be over 18), but only interesting. We both are advised to vote a socialistic party (GroenLinks
or SP), but that we already knew. I am a member of the SP, so what if I had to vote the conservatives? (lol) My sis also wants to be a member of it, but
she isn’t yet 16. Regretably enough I think the conservatives and the christians are gonna form a cabinet after the elections. Sad for me.
The SP and Groen Links are the only parties that are against an attack on Iraq by the USA. Sorry Bush-fans, I’m really against such an attack. Hopefully it takes a long, long time to read Iraq’s report for the UN weapon inspectors, so in between there won’t become a war. By the way, doesn’t America have
such forbidden weapons itself? Think of the nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. (And I’m really against the Japanese in that war, but still.) And that’s not the most recent example. Do we inspect America? No, we don’t! So only because America’s mightier than Iraq and it has beeen
attacked by Bin Laden’s terrorists, it has the right to attack every country that it says houses terrorists or whatever! I am against that horrible terrorism, but
that does not mean that I agree with Bush.
So, now I have to go offline, as we have very strict Internet rules that I never follow up. It’s quite expensive that I am online for two or three hours
a day, but fortunately we don’t get the telephone bill until January 20th or so. But my Dad will be furious with me if he sees the bill! Oh no, wish me
good luck for then.
See you later:
